Title: Allstate Motor Club
Post by: adidasguy on March 20, 2013, 10:49:53 PM
I always wondered what to do in a major breakdown.
I have everything through Allstate (a herd/gaggle/pod/swarm of bikes, car, house)
So I looked at the motor club.
Free towing and $100 expenses per incident.
Got the bill today. adding it to everything for one year was $37.50.

I guess not bad for "peace of mind". It covers whatever I am riding or driving - even if someone else's bike. They have different policies and this one covers bikes!

Might be something for you to look in to with your insurance company.

Sounds good. I just went with Allstate for my GS500. I'll check with them about this.

By the way, the side panel arrived yesterday. It's in great shape. Thanks a lot, adidasguy.

I have Liberty Mutual.

Although I do not have the towing package with them, I'm happy with Liberty.  They pay on time and no hassle.  Been in some minor accidents...my fault including one where my son opened the door of my car on a brand new Bimmer.  Oops.

I have towing through Amoco (now BP Motor Club).  $26 a quarter, and it covers all cars and bikes for towing, and gas if I run out.  Came in handy when my Xterra's gas gauge broke.  No reserve on a cage.

You need to join the AMA. Thats American Motorcycle Association. They fight for our rights as motorcyclists across the country. If you select "auto renew" your $50 membership includes free towing for all your vehicles, even RV's.
