Hey guys, I did end up selling my GS so I would like to part with a few things that I have left over. I bought some Progressive springs over the winter and never installed them. I also have a set of front blinkers with the fork clamps.
Asking $90 shipped for the springs ($92.50 + shipping from Progressive)
Make offer for the blinkers if anybody wants them. They are in good shape, and worked fine when they were on.
Also have this factory headlight cowl/fairing. It needs a couple of cracks repaired and then painted. I do have the windshield for it and headlight boot(?) thing... the windshield has a crack at a screw hole, and just basically doesnt look good. Make me an offer!

edit: uploaded pics of the windshield. note the small cracked area around a screw hole. it is still attached (maybe glued on?).

Are the blinkers the newer type with the long stalks for the front (2001-2002), or the 89-2000 style?

I am assuming that they are the 89-2000 style, as my bike was a 2000. thanks for pointing that out, adidasguy! btw i still have that headlight cowl that i bought from you also, if you are interested in buying it back.

I can do that. post a picture as others are always looking for one and maybe someone else wants it.
I am looking for 2001-2002 long stalk fronts as only those years were naked here in the US. I use that style (on all my projects) as I can get smoke lenses for them that looks really cool.

Progressive's are not rated like regular springs. Junior I recall has progressives and they are fine. get them. We can put them in when we do your fork seals. You bike will ride like new.
Sorry that i have not got back to anybody!! The springs are not rated, as adidasguy says. I got them because apparently they are bad ass. I will match the ebay price, no problem, so i will do $75 on those. Calpantera i will get you a pic tonight when i get home of the windshield, and yes i am still in WA. i will find out shipped for your zip. thanks guys!

Alright, I don't have any money for springs right now really broke, have to do that another time. And ohhhh, I was mixing up sonic and progressive springs.

how are those progressive springs compared to sonic .90-.95's? i am about 225 lbs and could use some heavier springs in the front.

I can't tell the difference between 0.85's and progressives.
I have 0.85's in all bikes except one that has progressives. I can't remember or tell which one is progressives.
Preload spacer length would make things stiffer or softer as would heavier or lighter oil.
Nortwestrider is heavy and finds what is in Dora (aka Trey) to be just fine. (I think those are 0.85's. It might be Junior that has progressives but I can't tell the difference).
So? Go buy these springs for sale. You'll be happy --- especially if you have stock springs now.
