Title: Under the seat storage?
Post by: Donny on March 27, 2013, 11:26:56 AM
How is everyone today?  Just a quick question.  Under the seat just below the lights there is a pocket with foam strips, is there anything that is supposed to be there?   Purchased my bike used and wondering if there is something missing. Thanks ps, it's a 2009 gs500f.

Yes. Bikes come with a small tool kit and it is secured there with a rubber strap.

Yup, I have replaced the OEM kit with a tubeless tire repair kit.
Fits snugly in there, and the kit comes in a handy bag: leaves just enough space to add
-the OEM tools
-copy of my documents
-basic road map of Belgium (small country, small map  ;))

I also have managed to squish a folding allen key set, small first aid kit and tubeless tire repair can under there as well.

I had to take out my toolkit to make room for the control panel for my underglow kit.

Random note. I once tried to fit my flip flops under the seat. I was onbly able to find room for one lol
