Title: Board crash - tapatalk sucks donkey nuts
Post by: john on March 31, 2013, 09:53:03 PM
The board crashed early this morning, It appears that tapatalk has been not only eating up server resources, but causing internal push errors.  The crash coincided with a tapatalk error.

I edited some scripts which should fix the errors I think.  I may be removing tapatalk if server load stays higher than allowed.  I may start by disabling push notifications.

Anyway, let me know of any errors.  I have been tweaking stuff on and off.  I am finished for the night.

I think in all this many PM's were lost. Others had reported some not getting through. I know badot PM'd me about a blue indicator cap and there are no messages between us other than tonight - and I DID get his address and mail out some caps.

Lately, many times the site appeared to lock up so I exited and tried again 10 minutes later.

It is a great idea, but causing me lots of little headaches.  Anyway, I just uploaded changes 30 minutes ago.  See what happens from here on out.

I'm a forum addict and so I have tapatalk. I love the convenience but convenience is not worth stability. Forum browsing on my mobile browser is better than not being able to browse at all.
