my winter project is almost finished. just need to do some wet sanding of the tank and plastics to give it a matte finish.
i cant believe how much different she is now. the performance upgrades and suspension changes have turned her into an entirely new bike. i cannot recommend these upgrades highly enough. the best part is anyone can do this stuff on their own.
done over the last 3 months by me:
r6 rear shock
sonic front springs / powder coated fork legs
removed pair system
carb rejet (used the dynojet stage 1 at the recommendation of my local mechanic)
k&n lunchbox
moto gp shorty exhaust
painted tank and plastics
shortened clubman bars
front fenderectomy
to be done over the summer
15t front sprocket
rear wheel swap
shorten subframe (prob next winter)
pics...hopefully
when i bought her

spanktastic,...that tank is rocking sexy
Thats great man. I really like what you did with it. Tank is awesome.
So you don't have a muffler at all? That's gotta be really loud. I heard that you can damage the engine when you run straight pipe like that.
It wont damage it but it will be loud as mentioned.
To the OP, do you have a side cover for the engine right side?
yes. first thing i did when i bought it.
and thanks for the compliments on the tank.
