Title: Musarri Slip on SPORTS EXHAUST - engine adjustments??
Post by: riclege on April 05, 2013, 03:42:45 PM
I just installed a Muzarri Slipon header and I want to make sure I don't damage my engine!!!

Do I need to adjust anything to the motor? (Jets etc...)
1. Without removing the baffle on the header?
2. Removing the baffle from the header?

Thanks in advance!!!!!

From all I've read, if all you did was exhaust, no rejet necessary- but don't expect any power gains either. If you want (very modest) power gains, you'll need to do intake as well and then rejet. Lots of people will recommend a rejet even with just an exhaust mod, but really just because the stock GS runs lean.

Tx!  I wasn't expecting any power gain with just the slip on!  I'm thankful for your input!!

....and just as well !!!! .... powergains are best made by the application of a GSTWINS sticker.. anywhere on the bike.... or possibly another sticker of suitably/similarly coolness!!  ;) ;) ;)
