Stripped mine out somehow playing around w/ it too much. Anyone know a part #. I stripped out the threads on the screw, #6 in the picture, and possible the nut. Thanks in advance!

I ended up making one for now, but ordered one too. my clutch still slips after the right adjustment. guess it's time for a new clutch?!
I honesty doubt it needs a new clutch, unless your miles are up there or the plates are terribly stuck. Hard to wear out a GS clutch is all Im saying, but there are stranger thing i suppose. How many miles on your 95?

Yeah thats what I thought from doing a lot of reading. I did just put a new front sprocket on there, 17 tooth and stock was 16. But it slipped before, takes off great but once im going the and get into it, the motor rev and clutch slips in any gear. The bike has 22,000 on it.

I'm sure you did, but you did use Motorcycle oil, right? 10W40 is good. 10W30 or 5W30 not so much.

I havent changed the oil since Ive had the bike. I was going to do that this weekend. Hope thats what it is!

BINGO! Oil needs changed. Your clutch is swimming in old, cruddy oil. If the problem doesn't get better after some riding with new oil, you may need to clean your clutch plates.
We don't need to turn this thread into another oil thread, but make sure you use oil without friction modifiers, and that you fill it to the correct height on the dip stick while on center stand... Its all in your manual, and its worth a read even if you think you already know how... There are plenty of threads on this if you have questions after the manual.

Yeah I already know all about the types of oils and this and that :cheers: thanks though. But when I bought the bike the top end of the motor had just been replaced and probably only had a couple of mins of run time on it just from idling bc the bike couldnt be ridden yet. So doubt its bc of the oil but Im going to change it anyways to see if it helps. Since the oil is going to be drained Im going to clean the clutch plates and probably change the springs? Not sure if just changing the springs will help any.
Springs probably fine.
Clean clutch plates - I used kerosene. Wiped clean then dipped in fresh oil before reassembling. It is a wet clutch.Do not reassemble it dry.
FYI: The whole clutch adjuster assembly is easy to find. Replace the whole thing rather than just buying one screw. Also, you can get complete clutch covers with it - cheap! Remove it then install the whole assembly in your side cover or replace the clutch cover if the used one is in better condition. I must have a dozen clutch covers with the thingy in them. Going to have to take a pile to recycling. I have no use for that many. They just show up in parts assortments for some reason.

Really all you need to replace would be the inner adjuster thingy - just in case you farkled it when you damaged the screw. That's the part on the right. The left is the mount in the clutch cover.
I'll send you this one and one in a black cover.
Maybe $10 postage. (I'll have to charge you if you want me to clean them first.)
