Title: Bar end mirrors 2010 GS500
Post by: Jedijac on April 09, 2013, 05:07:17 AM
Hi all,
I am thinking of putting some bar end mirrors on my GS500 (2010).
Firstly can I get these for my model bike?
What do I do about the left mirror which is attached to the clutch perch?
I'm in Australia, where is best place to buy these?
Is there an instructional video/tutorial on putting these on?

Any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Here is a link below that probably answers most of your questions regarding bar end mirrors.  That site has a lot of GS500 information you can source in the future as well.

I have these on my GS.

I wanted them straight up, not out to the side so ended up trimming a little of the part that clamps the ball end of the mirror so the mirror stands straight up.  I reckon they look great and much better when passing stopped traffic as you need only worry about one thing, not the bars and the mirrors in different places.

As for what to put in the holes, plasticine, blutak, bolt, plastic cap, nothing, whatever takes your fancy.
