Title: Bike Repair Help!!
Post by: joeyshakespeare on April 13, 2013, 05:27:58 PM
Hi All,

I went down for the first time a couple weeks ago and broke my hand in a bunch of places.
I'm just now getting round to repairing everything.
I managed to fix all of the electrics (except the sidelight for some reason) and it starts and runs.
However, the trigger to turn the choke snapped off and the fairing that wraps all the way around the seat is snapped off on the left side.
Here's a link to 2 pics of each:

What is gonna be the best fix?

Thanks!

I would just get on ebay and buy both parts used and be done with it.

What parts do I need to buy?
The choke part is cracked off so I'm not sure what exactly to buy.
Also, does the faring split into left and right? Because it seems to be in one whole piece

http://www.ebay.com/itm/07-2007-SUZUKI-GS500-GS-500-F-GS500F-CHOKE-LEVER-32-/330880874118?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4d0a097686&vxp=mtr

and the tail section is actually 3 pieces left right and center.  then bolt together then go on the bike as one unit.

Awesome, thanks for the help.
So you think that that is the only piece I need that's broken?
