You can make anything work with the right tools & skills. I would question the performance of the new exhaust. You will probably loose hp since you are putting on a muffler meant for a bike with over double the output as the gs. But if this is just for looks, go for it.
well people have put R6 exhaust on GS with no complaints so don't see why not. I'm sure the 1 possible 2 hp lost wont kill you.
just have to figure out what to do with the extra 2 headers. unless youre talking about just the can alone. i used a gsxr wege can on my last 97. no noticeable loss of power. course i had a 14t front sprocket. but even before that mod, it wasnt noticable at all
Yeah just looking at the can alone, would prefer not to drop any power but it is way to quiet as it is! Are there any aftermarket brands/models you guys would recommend? Have been looking second hand to keep the price as low as possible, but haven't found much here in Australia yet. Thanks :)

Here's one off an '04 GSXR 600. It's slightly louder and 2 lbs lighter. It's welded to a stock pipe.

Do you have a thread or video on how you installed this and made it work? Found one locally but can't quite work out how to mount it :/

The inner and outter diameter of the 04 gsxr is the same than the gs? Isn't it wider? :icon_question:
