Hi Guys,
Been a member for a long time, had to give up riding a few years back and left my poor neglected GS sitting in my folks garage in los angeles. The bike is not running right now, got a bit of rust in the tank and I'm sure the carbs need cleaning. It does have spark and the cylinders have great compression. New battery, sonic springs, kawasaki rear shock (not installed), HEL stainless brake lines, (front installed rear not). Overall the bike is a beauty, only about 4000 miles on it. I rode it for only about a year around PCH back in the day. It's been on NON-OP for a few years so registrating shouldn't be an issue. Everything else on it is stock. Never been down, fell over very slowly once while cleaning it which put a tiny scrape on the pipe, but no damage really. Anyway, i'm looking to sell it to someone who can get her running again as I just don't have the knowledge or energy. If I were more mechanically inclined I'd fix her up and keep her. :(
Not really sure what to ask for it. Open to offers or trades. Please don't offer me $200 as I know what the parts alone can be sold for if I decide to go that route.
I'm in Morgan Hill, which is just south of San Jose, California

If that's the case we'd be happy to guide you through fixing it up. And it never hurts to learn a thing or two.
I had 0 knowledge of motorcycles when I brought mine up and was in exact condition...bike sat for a couple years (carb clean and tank cleaning later and bam she rumbles) worth a shot dude and youd make double what you would if you do decide to sell it
carb cleaner 5
plugs? 5
battery 50
evaporust or equivalent 20 for a gallon
tools you prob have
patience that idk lol
profit a lot more than what ^ costs
i'd definitely be interested in picking it up...pm sent
