1. I wouldn't be caught with this helmet.
2. I only buy DOT approved helmets.
3. $1000 for a helmet HAHAHAHA...
Wait a min....at 2:40 he says "Im not trusting my life with that"
Uh, is it even DOT or SNELL? No
Hmmmm ... Interesting ... It even looks dodgy before he explains it .... $1000!?!?!? .. Well I guess maybe he will be more careful with his money in future...
I'd also have to say ... 'Fool! .. You want to look like a complete duck in the first place by riding with that crap! ... You deserve to get stung for 1 Large!! '
I have LOTS of crap I'll be glad to sell for $1000.
He was told that it was DOT and smell approved. But the amount of times this vid has been seen on YouTube his made his money back.
"based on a DOT approved helmet"
lol

yeah .. but whichever one it is or isnt... still looks like ARSE!!! :icon_rolleyes:
sorry but this guy is simply an idiot. He is Australian and and paid and exorbitant amount for an overseas helmet that obviously does not have the Australian Standard AS1698 sticker on it. There is a reason why these stickers are on helmets, to stop crap like this getting onto the shelves of our bike shops.
That one on Ebay that say's DOT on the back of helmet.. "Klaipėda, LT, Lithuania" yep I sure bet that's DOT., but at least there is still suckers in the world, i need to sell junk for 1k and maybe they will buy it as well :technical:

You know how our helmet laws are I'm guessing with a dot and snell approval like he was told if he got pulled over and ticketed I'm guessing what he would do is argue it in court. But yeah.

He won't be able to argue with his insurance company though. If you got your gear covered in your insurance they won't reimburse you for a non Australian Standard AS1698 helmet.
I didn't know that. I'm guessing he didn't get what he ordered. I went on the Facebook page and saw the options you can get and yeah. I'm with you sinking a grand on a non mainstream helmet is a big risk.
I like how the color is listed as "Blacks" in the auction.
...lol
