Title: Breaking a Bandit 400
Post by: makenzie71 on May 03, 2013, 06:49:17 PM
Forks are $125 shipped.  Will need to be resealed.

Rear wheel...everything....rotor, cush, axle, spacers, blah, blah, etc.  $250 shipped.

Rearsets are $70 shipped.

Standard model so I got bar mounts...don't know what else might be of interest here.

These bikes must be losing popularity...a few years ago I would have had obscene offers for that rear wheel haha

It's just that people have discovered Katana wheels fit, which are much more plentiful.

They knew that then.  The Pre-Kat swoopy wheels were still 3.5", though.  The swept wheels look better than the straight spoke GSXR hand-me-downs on the later bikes to me, and I think even the little Kat's are 5" rears...which is just a little too much for the GS.  A lot of personal opinion but oh well.

Are the rearsets just bolt on for the GS500 and do they actually bring your feet back/up?
