hey all! name is Alex, i'm 26 from Mississauga, Ontario. Just picked up my first bike :) '04 GS500F . Welcome Alex. The GS500 is a great bike to start on. It is light, reacts well, is forgiving, and still can give a thrill when you twist the grip. Mine needs to be in the 4000 RPM range to get peppy, and I love it.
