Title: Passed by a downed biker yesterday
Post by: pliskin on May 24, 2013, 07:39:57 PM
I saw some red and blue flashing lights up ahead yesterday. As I passed by I see the downed road warrior. His Harley was mangled but he was up and standing. This kind if thing puts me in check. Be safe our there.

Dude. You must ride really slow if downed riders are passing you.

I was thinking the exact same thing. When I read the title I imagined a motorcycle sliding by him on its side.

I too was a bit confused by the thread title at first.

I'm glad he was alright. Wonder how it happened. Hope his insurance will cover the damage.

Was it a straight bit of road? or a bit of a bend? Saw a Harley going around a corner the other day and it gave me chills to see how close the exhaust manifold got to the road..

Yea, it was a straight bit of road. About a 1/4 mile stretch. I can't imagine how it lost it. Somebody must have pulled out of a driveway?? Freak things happen I guess.
