Hey guys,
just browsing through this section and found it a little difficult to sort out what was from where so I thought maybe we could manage the titles in a different way?
E.g. [Location] Short description of items/bike (model/year)?
so for example maybe [Australia/NSW] Parting out 500F 2004
I don't know if this has been tried in the past or not but it might be worth a go?
Just a thought anyway, feel free to chime in!

Easier just to state where you are from when asking/selling when you post :dunno_black:
Makes perfect sense to me, why clutter a thread with questions about where the item is when it could easily be posted in the thread or title itself.
Good idea
If people would put their location in their profile, lots of things would be easier.

I had to applaud this statement
Putting the location in the profile would help but there is still the matter of when you are just browsing the link names to the threads, if the location was in those then you could open the ones most relevant to your location?
One thing that has kind of bugged me is when you don't know if somebody is buying or selling something after reading the thread title. Because the section is "For sale / want to buy", it can ho either way.

I could go for this...to require either a FS or a WTB as part of the thread title.

Or, like the rest of us, you open the ones that sound like something you would be interested in, read about it, then check the OP's location in his/her profile if it isn't stated in the text of the post. Not hard really. Not even really time consuming, for that matter.
The EX-500 forum has separate forums. One for selling. One for buying.
Person's location should be mandatory for any buy/sell posting because lots of people do not put it in their profile.
