Title: Cool video of a RC car cam
Post by: pliskin on June 01, 2013, 08:05:16 PM
I had one of these RC10 RC cars when I was a kid. It was great fun. My friend and I put every nut and bolt together by hand. Even the miniature shocks had to be assembled and filled with oil. This dude put a video cam on the car and took it for a ride.

I still have my original RC10T. I sunk about $1500 into just before turning 16 then it sat.

They literally just setup pre orders for the re release of the original rc10:

I WANT ONE! That's the exact car I had.....with the aluminum chassis. That's the picture right off the original box. That sucker was fast. I remember needing a new set of tires after an few charges. I sold it when I was 17 back in 87 or 88 because I needed some cash for my first real car. The kid I sold it to let his little sister drive it.....right into a curb full speed and folded it in half. He came back to me wanting his money back. Said she could not stop because it had no reverse (it came that way). Yea, that refund didn't happen.

Lol ... Mate had one also ... Those studded dirt tyres wore right down smooth after a while ... Complete slicks ... So he put them on a spare set of rims when he bought new ones.... And used to drive the slicks indoor on the carpet... Chasing the family dog around the house ... Dog wasn't scared of it though .. Used to get right into it .. Like a game of tag  :D
