Title: Victim of Hit and Run Needs Parts
Post by: 78530i on June 03, 2013, 04:05:09 PM
Hello. I found my bike on it's side last Sunday morning. Poor thing. Does anybody have a straight set of handlebars, a center stand, or the bracket with footpeg for left side?

Oh yeah... It's a 2000 e model (if it matters).

6/6/2013 - I think I have found what I need; but the handlebars jp has for me are black. I would still buy some chrome ones if anybody has them.

I have handlebars & footpeg off a 97. Don't think I have the centerstand, but I'll check when I get home tonight.

Thanks everyone. No... just liability insurance; but I think I can fix it cheaply. Thanks to this forum for being here too.

jp - Let me know what you want for the handlebars. I need the triangular bracket that holds the footpeg (with footpeg attached) if you have it.

This is what I have. The footpeg is worn down from 120,000 miles of use, so you my want use your peg on this bracket. $20 plus shipping for everything. If you're interested, pm me with your address, and I'll get them boxed up and get you a shipping quote. If you can receive it at work, it usually a few bucks cheaper than to a home address.

jp - Thanks a bunch. I'll pm you and buy the lot. I was kindof hoping for chrome handlebar; so if anybody else has a chrome bar, I'll buy that too.

cbrfxr67 - Thanks anyway! jp came through with a centerstand.

Jp came through. Thanks. I installed everything last weekend except the handlebars. I'm still kindof hoping for some chrome; and I have springs ordered; so I'll do the handlebars when I put those in.
