what kind of mount did you get for your cell? I've been thinking of getting one but the only brand I know well is RAM.

I bought a cheap mount off ebay from China for $8. I still have to check the part that holds the actual phone and see how strong it is.  I do not mind losing $8 if it doesn't work. A RAM mount is something I still might get if this one doesn't work out.

used ram mounts with teh suction cups on hte exterior of my vehicles, and my gs, as well as the sportie. nary a problem. btw if you use suction cup type mounts, moisten them, ( soap or a bit of water works wonders)

Insure your cell on your homeowners or renters policy.. its cheap, $0 deductible and say $600 in coverage for loss or theft is like 12 a year or so.
Perfect if you lose it or it falls off and is never found...

Yeah, I have a suction cup mount for my GoPro Hero 3 BE and it works great. Really strong. Pics and a vid are uploading now. Might be a while though. 720p adds up quick!

I didnt listen to the whole review will it fit phones bigger than the iphone?

I am curious as to how that holds up over time and at speed.

I have a new nelson rig tank bag that I am using in the map window for m phone, but this is cool.

I took it out 2x today and tried to record one with my GP3 while riding but for some reason the damn camera didnt record??

Anyway, it seems to work well. It will kinda bounce a little but very little. The again, my phone is very big and very heavy due to its natural size and the huge battery I have on it.

Just a warning: the Hero3 Black has been reported to have problems with 64GB cards, which can result in permanently corrupting the memory card and bricking the camera. I'd highly recommend using a 32GB card.

Wow, my Drift gets closer to 5.5 hours with my 32 card at 1080p at 30fps. You sure that's not the 1080p time?

Hey guys, it seems like the Lifeproof idea was dropped a while back but I've been riding with one for 2 weeks >300 miles and have hit some pretty nasty bumps no issues. As far as hitting something/ rolling on handlebar, not an issue, they give you 3 different inserts to grip different size bars and a lever adjust to really lock it down. Just a little feedback for anyone lookin to go that route. Mine is a iphone 5 but the actual bar mount looks to be the same between the 2.

I finally got a chance to check my cam and I was initially incorrect. It is set at 720 @ 60 FPS. The only two FPS options are 60 and 120 so if you have 30 FPS, that seems why you can get more record time out of the Drift @ 720

I should receive shortly a cable that will allow me to use an external mic inside the gopro3 waterproof case without drilling any holes. I want to simplify my vlogging setup so I can vlog whenever I feel like and not have to plan a bit in advance

Who rides in the rain? I watch the weather and IF I were to get caught in the rain, I would take it out of the mount and put in my pocket. For instance, were going out of town this weekend for a charity ride. It is about a 90min ride there one way. Just watch the weather and plan ahead.
