Got one planned down the road in stages for my entire back. taz sitting on a moto, holding up the world while flipping someone off with his exposed finger
Got a couple small ones, one on my left arm, one on my left leg. Both glow in the dark--the artist used UV reactive ink, but about a year later they just started glowing in the dark. Freaked me out a bit the first time I noticed it. :icon_lol:
The arm (means truth/justice, you can see the UV ink above and to the left of the black ink):

Under a black light (this was before I got the black ink added):

And the leg stuff (the star glows in the dark):

Whats the leg tattoo mean if you don't mind me asking
The letters on the top are the fraternity (Phi Gamma Delta), chapter (Alpha Gamma), and class (Kappa). The lettering on the banner is Greek that roughly translates to "friendship, the sweetest influence".

I personally detest tattoos, especially on girls.
Try to get a good job with a tattoo on your neck, or all tatted up down your arms. I work in a professional environment. Not a single person has a tattoo. Get tatted up, deal with the consequences... right, wrong or indifferent...
Depends on the workplace. I've worked in a professional environment in which one of the highest paid engineers not only had full sleeves on both arms, but rolled his shirt up to his shoulders every day of the week.
That said, I won't get a tattoo that can't be covered by business casual clothing. After working at a job for 2 and a half years, none of my coworkers knew I had any tattoos.

seen many skank stamps.
at 20 years old i have 7 tattoos, full sleeve and some other odds and ends stuff. memory tattoo for my grandpa, and i have a snowmobile doing a back flip and it says "whats the point of tip toeing through life only to arrive safely at death" probably one of my favorite ones. tattoos are kind of a big thing in my family, we enjoy being covered and all have good jobs. seems like with the younger generation, tattoos are a big thing.

They are becoming more and more acceptable in society. I think John is just showing his age. :D

I love a woman with tasteful and well did ink. Cheap ink I can'tstand. I have my own fair share of tats. I will get more. I've never had a problem getting a job but then again, my education, resume, creditials and employment history speak for themselves. My last job was with Proctor and Gamble where I did both their computer/intranet support as well as Process Safety and Industrial Hygiene and that was a 60K job. Now granted we worked in a manufacturing facility and not in the public eye so that may make the difference but again, I've never had an issue working with tats.

exactly. if well placed and acceptable to public eye id say okay. if not acceptable to public eye BUT in a professional environment, theres coverings usually. I say its your body and canvas, BUT choose wisely. theres no eraser. well there is, but its time consuming

Not to mention excruciatingly painful. If you're ever tempted to get a tattoo that you're not entirely sure about, watch a video of someone getting laser tattoo removal. You won't wont that tattoo anymore.
ive only got 2 small tattoos... no pics at moment...
but ive always thought.... decide on a design/artwork ... wait a month! .. if you dont still love it .. then wait till you see something you do want! ..
the whole 'instant tattoo' without forethought is not a good plan
I don't have any tattoos. In my culture my Dad would not like me to do it. So Janx101 you have 2 tattoos? Does it hurt to have tattoo put on?
Yes it hurts a bit ... Not bad ... Like a hot needle tip .. Just while needle is working ... A big area in one sitting can be very uncomfortable .... But depends on person too .. And where tattoo is ... On arm not too bad ... On ribs or lower back quite painful my friend says.... But he also has a tattoo on his...... Ummmm .... On his .... 'Babymaker' ;) .... He said that hurt enough to make him have tears
Seen a girl with a butterfly tattooed round her girl bit and her pooper hole. Makes you think why.

I dunno though!? ... I like butterflies!
Seen .. An orchid, a gargoyle/demon, a red white bullseye and a donut! ... Interesting year at 'Sexpo' that was :icon_eek: .... Definately left impressions on my mind ... And I couldn't go to Krispy Kreme without a grin for ages!
People tell me that on leg near shin hurts a lot also.

The shin isn't so bad, I had more trouble when the needle got closer to my achilles tendon.

So sad. You look like person who has tattoo gf. Tatoo are nice on some girls. But I think that at uni some of the big girls have made mistake with their tattoos.
for me near the nipple and elbow were quite painful. my whole right arm is done, did it in 3 sittings. about 2-3 hour sessions a piece. personally they are addicting. i will never regret any of my tattoos, heck i have 2 people doing it doggy style on my arm, it looks like a chinese symbol http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://i.ebayimg.com/00/%24%28KGrHqN,!k8E2EbpL%29FMBNoSdUme%2B!~~0_35.JPG&imgrefurl=http://www.ebay.in/itm/KANJI-SEX-Funny-doggy-style-chinese-humor-cool-t-shirt-/220767368792&usg=__REu2_fRQ2byyz8gbBXgJ6cPYyKE=&h=292&w=300&sz=13&hl=en&start=2&zoom=1&tbnid=NnMyNPkDn_VjsM:&tbnh=113&tbnw=116&ei=2Ti9UeeOCcTk0QGvi4DoCw&prev=/search%3Fq%3D2%2Bpeople%2Bdoing%2Bit%2Bdoggy%2Bstyle%2Bchinese%2Btattoo%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26hs%3Dyd5%26sa%3DX%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-US:official%26tbm%3Disch%26prmd%3Divns&itbs=1&sa=X&ved=0CC4QrQMwAQ

That's an awesome design. Curious as to your age, zmerica...this seems like the type of thing that might not seem as cool when you hit middle age.
