Title: Leaking Gas Tank. Help!
Post by: newbie1993 on June 09, 2013, 10:19:00 AM
Today I went to follow some instructions from a fellow GS owner about my the problem I have starting my bike. I noticed that I have a gas leak coming directly from the gas tank itself. It leaks out when the tank is mounted on the frame and when the tank is tilted to its right side.. i can see where the gas ate away the black paint in the tank.. I need help before I have to pay for a brand new tank.. I dont have the money for that right now

Replacing it is the easiest of the options you have for sure. If you dont need to ride asap you could always do this.
