out of all the jetting, filters, and the pipes, which setup (for a 2002) would give me the most power/acceleration? I really love blasting the on-ramp. that is of course when it is warm enough out to ride :(
i heard that the GS filter box and filter are very restrictive so then you would get the most power if you got a k&n pod filter...
Opening up the air flow through the engine will really help. A full exhaust and K&N is a good start along with re-jetting. One thing that is usually over looked is changing the gearing for better acceleration, up in the rear or down in the front. About 3 teeth in the rear is equal to 1 in the front. You do loose top end though.
blasting up the on ramp.... go get a 14 or 15 Tooth C/S sprocket and the bike will accel like a different bike for about $15
