Title: Suzuki parts - best source
Post by: RodneyBR on June 16, 2013, 07:59:45 AM
Recently purchased a GS500F for my wife and need the stock headlight and running light, plus a few other parts. Also need a signal relay.

I'm in the Oshawa/Toronto area, but maybe there are online stores guys guys know that sell parts at a great price.

Found bulbs at Canadian Tire :)

NAPA Auto Parts has a signal relay which would probably work, but it's round and won't fit that well. I'll probably have to go to Suzuki for that.

Aren't there any local dealers?

Yea, dealers, but pricing is ridiculous.

Hey, I don't know how comfortable with eBay you are nor do I know if there's a big difference in shipping to Toronto, but I just picked up a pair of Osram Silverstars for $32. They were from a US dealer. Brand new.

I know when I picked up the headlight for mine it was really cheap..and the guy mentioned it's a pretty standard kind of light, as in, Walmart standard.

The signal relay, you will really just need to hunt online, either Ebay or BikeBandit, there are a lot of outlets that offer parts.

Bud across the street who's a mechanic gave me a signal relay, so installed that. It's round though and attached with cable ties, but works perfectly.
