I'm so torn on this. I love my phone, and I love having so much information at my fingertips. It would be great for touring.
But at the same time, I find that part of the charm of riding is just going, getting lost, and trying to figure out how to get back, all the while enjoying the scenery and the experience.
Gah! I just don't know how I feel about this.
I see this as a way to further thin the gene pool. I read about a study recently that determined that dictating a text and/or talking on the phone via Bluetooth while driving is at least as distracting as using the hands-on physical device.
One of the other forums I check into regularly decided it will look like this:

Hmmm, I'm not sure about the map on the screen.
But I do love my new stereo in my car that has BT built in! It mutes my music and the # shows up on the screen. A quick press answers and long press hangs up. I love that I can keep both hands on the wheel and there is nothing in my ear distracting me from hearing ambient noise.

Yeah, bluetooth in cars in a must have IMO. I have it in my truck with my after market unit and it is a lot better than being tethered to a cord to get music from the device also
Not sure im diggin the map in face/FOV either. :dunno_white:
Too bright. distracting
