Title: Easy question about indicator bulb
Post by: Tallemertes on June 20, 2013, 08:34:48 AM
I'm replacing my indicator bulbs with LEDs but I can't figure out how to remove the old bulbs. Do I just take a pair of needle nose pliers and pull them out or do I push them out the back?

On the back of the cluster you can find the wires going into a rubberized housing for each bulb... pull that rubberized housing out from the back, careful not to pull the wires out.  Then you'll be able to switch out the indicator bulbs no problem.

I got the bulbs switched out. I just stuck a little bit of duct tape on the ends of needle nose pliers and pulled out the bulb that way. The LEDs are so much brighter! I can see them in the sunlight.
