Hello,
I have a 2007 GS500F and I have a problem that I need some guidance on. When I am moving and giving it throttle, everything is good. When I let go of the thottle, I get a clicking noise near the chain. It clicks in time with the bike, so as I slow down, the clicking slows down.
I lube and clean the chain, and it seems to be tight enough. Any suggestions on what could cause it? Maybe I should get a new chain and sproket. I never replaced it and I bought it 2 years ago. Could it be a kink or something?

A worn front sprocket will make a noise like that when coasting in gear mostly at slow speeds, or could be a kinky chain with a similar noise, or a too tight a chain. You don't mention how many miles on the chain and sprockets.
Start by putting it on the centerstand and checking the freeplay all the way around the chain, if loose some places and tighter others it's kinked. Should be able to see the kinks. Also pull the front sprocket cover and look at the front sprocket for wear.
