Wow, really?
I admit it isn't a great video, he isn't doing anything insane, but it's a video of someone having fun on their GS.  I "wasted my life" reading your post and responding to it, not watching the video.

I can't figure out the charm and delight in ruining your tires.
It's not like it is a big deal - just hold the front brake and twist the throttle. Even a non-motorcycle rider can do that. No skill required at all.

Wheelies take some skill and should have started earlier so we could see one.

Hi system32 , good early version for video experience! .. the users on here tend to be a bit polarised when it comes to bike action vids..

i think the sound and picture quality is good! what camera are you using? , the wheelies need some work  ;) .. the burnout, well thats going to make the most people irritated i think! (if you must do a burnout video - then make it a 'good hard' burnout!! some of us hoon Aussies do appreciate a good burnout!  ;) ).. and good on you for at least having a safety barrier in front of you! ..

i would suggest maybe having a friend work the camera for you, or a mini tripod a bit like this...

http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/astore/Generic-mini-tripod.aspx?afid=7&gclid=CK2p_Izd87cCFcZIpgodtm8A4g

.. it will raise the viewpoint so that the ground in the shot does not dominate the lower part of the view so much  :thumb: .. depending on your camera used of course .. if its a larger camera then a wider/stronger mini tripod like this ...

http://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/products/Technology/Cameras/Tripods-and-Accessories/Tripods/CRSLIKMINI?catargetid=1402860417

.. and as Slipperymongoose said .. start the wheelie earlier .. maybe 3 or 4 bike lengths from camera .. that way we see more of what is happening ..  :D

... i will point out that i have not done videos personally , however a number of friends have done so and i have been watching closely while they setup the gear and how the shots were put together... and now i have to keep saving spare cash so i can get a camera and do my own.

the Vlog videos on this forum are popular .. so if you do some of them you should get a much happier response from more people.. ;) :thumb:

I can't really do a wheelie on a bicycle, so, good for you. The burn-out. Well, I'm jaded. To me, THIS is a burnout, and 95% of the reason is the vehicle and the sound.

I go to the Carlisle bike show in PA a lot, and a good burn out only happens when a tire blows

Call that a wheelie?

If Doug Domokos was still alive I think his comment would be `more practice needed`

Kinda reminds me of this........

my camera is Gopro hero 2. i got it without any mounts so i have to put it on the ground until i got them.
yes i agree, it will be better to start wheelie bit early, but i had no experience before :))

I just did'nt think making videos of you purposefully doing something like this is "fun". i rather watch you work on the bike..or tear it up on track day..or rocking the dirt bike and hitting some high jumps. not seeing yourself get hurt over doing wheelies. To each their own I guess.

For future videos, here is my first and foremost advice: nix the music.
