Yea, what I was seeing was that fireworks looking image. It even changed colors. I zoomed in on it and it looked really weird. I'll upload some of the pics later.
Meh i see nothing noteworthy. to me it looked like just a random radar glitch. i have no cause for concern or conspiracy theories at this point :)
Seagull sitting on the radar, getting cooked.
looks like netowrk lag, plus the sweep from the doppler coupled with the phones power or perhaps lack of, or computers power or lack of. ( since many of yall posted this pic )and no one anywhere else had said anything. i had seen this at work as well. that firework pic is about the range of a doppler sweep
The weather around Baltimore was wild on Friday. My brother works at APG, a lightning warning was issued while they were firing, immediately followed by a torrential downpour. All the while their radar was clear. Went on like that for a good while, until all at once a big red spot popped up on the radar right over Aberdeen.
Right on Ross. I rode my bike to work Friday (Westminster, 15mi northwest of Baltimore). Sky was clear and in minutes we had storms. I watch the radar all day long because I don't want to get stuck in a storm for the ride home. Some weird shift happens on the radar all the time. I've been saving screenshots.....I'll post them soon. I also have some nice storm chaser type pics from my rides home. Usually the storm is chasing me down the road.
