Finally got the exhaust on and carbs are funny fickle things! Below the needle there is a small little metal tube thingy that had become dislodged. Had to take the carbs out flip them over and gently hammer it back in. After that he runs great. Still, some minor tuning but man does he sound different now! As far as my graduation present from Addidas I don't know if I should paint them the same color as my current ones or keep them the shiny chrome color? Hard to believe I've owned him for a year now!

Very good to hear! :thumb:
Looking good. Love that V&H system. Sounds so sweet.
If you find the V&H a little too loud, you CAN if you try, insert (force in) the silencer from a Jardine. I did that on Junior's V&H. It made quite a difference in the sound - making it something I could live with.
Go ahead and put Flick's bling on as polished stainless steel (that's what they are, not chrome). Then if you don't like it so shiny, you can dull it down or paint them. The important thing is to PUT THEM ON!
