Title: Leaky Petcock issue
Post by: newbie1993 on July 07, 2013, 07:06:47 PM
I got my leaky fuel tank sealed and got everything back together and put gas in the tank.. no leak from the original hole but now i have a leak directly from where the petcock connects with the tank.. Anyone know how i could fix the issue?

There's an o-ring that seals the petcock to the tank, and an o-ring inside the petcock that sometimes goes bad. Is it leaking from between the tank and the petcock, or from the petcock itself?

between the tank and the petcock is where the leak is coming from

Pull the petcock off and take a look at number 10. It may need to be replaced, it's 4 bucks for a new one from Ron Ayers.
