Title: Slip on with stock air filter
Post by: Courtice_GS500 on July 09, 2013, 09:39:47 AM
Hi everyone

Can you put on a slip on pipe with a stock air filter?

Bikes an 02'.

I will be changing the jets to 20/60/132.5.

Also I grabbed #4 stainless washers for the needle. How many do I need to use with that setup?

Thanks

60 is your original mid - so you wont be changing to a 60. 20/132.5 with slip on works perfectly.
Washers - I've has trouble getting the #4 to fit. You have a washer on top of the clip in the carb already. Move tha tunder the e clip.
Drill the brass caps on the air screws out and set those to 3.
Cool.
