Title: Best place to get new Intake boots
Post by: Ric0157 on July 16, 2013, 10:37:23 AM
So I have been looking around for a place to order replacement intake boots and have not had much luck.  I also used the search function on this site (which is really annoying by the way as you cant go back to your search results and have type in a new search everytime!).  And I have not been able to find a good supplier.  So where do you guys order new carb boots from.  I tried searching bike bandit with no luck.  The only other place I saw them was on Ebay.

I always love www.rockymountainatv.com I have ordered a bunch from them and in the few instances I have had issues or whatever they are over accomodating (wrong size, didnt work for my applicaiton, returns, etc).

A popular one is also RonAyers.com however I ordred a cable from them last Friday and its yet to even ship.. so I am not over impressed. Had I ordered from Rockymountain it would probably be here.. and I paid $8 at ronayers to ship.. so not sure what their deal is I am about to call them.

Be sure you get the right year.
89-00 are different than 2001+ because the carbs changed (2 jet to 3 jet) and the connection to the carb boots changed slightly. Als it changed on the air box side.

For future reference, they are available new on Bike Bandit, but they are listed under Engine & Exhaust -> Cylinder - Head.  At least thats where they are for a 1993 model.  They go by the name "Pipe Assy, Intak".

I see them for about $28 each.
