Title: two outlets on bottom of fuel tank
Post by: rptorman on July 16, 2013, 01:37:13 PM
There are two outlets on the bottom of the fuel tank, not the tank petcock. I need to figure out where they are suppose to run to. Any help appreciated.

A straight tube near the petcock is the drain for around the gas cap. Route a hose down to the ground. Usually with the airbox drain.

The other one is probably curved. If so, cap it off. It is for CA emissions crap. It is of no use unless you have all the "canister" stuff and want to install a Calif. emissions setup.

Did the bike come from California? Normal tanks have only the gas cap drain hose. Calif models have the extra vent for emissions stuff.

Good info to know I would not have known that otherwise.

Thanks adidasguy!
