Here is the deal he wants to tradehis cobra for a stock. Is it worth it or should i just get the vance and hines?

Even trade? What do you have a loose? A stock exh can that already sounds like crap to begin with? I say go for it

I have that exhaust bro!
Make sure its in good shape. I like it, its not obnoxiously loud or anything, but now that I rode my 91 stock GS around, its definitely not stock. It sounds best in the 4-6k range, it rumbles decently, but not too loud. When you run it up it sounds good as well.

He doesnt like what i did to my stock so he wants to buy his own how much should i pay for it. Or will i like the vance and hines better

Theres always something better, I am sure the Vance and Hines is better. Its also more $$.

I would say pay $50-$80 no more and probably on the lower end of that. See what he comes back with.

I think that exhaust slipon was $125-$50ish when it came out, but I could be wrong.

also do you need to rejet with this exhaust he never did and said it rode fine

I am slightly jetted for it. I didnt have the bike without either so I cant answer that.
