Hey guys its me again, been fairly busy lately so all the work on my bike stopped but im picking it back up. I ordered better condition brakes for my bike off ebay, and when i did the pistons were out so i cleaned them up and everything else before putting them back away to wait for the day i get new front pads. Well that day has come and now I have no idea how to get everything back together and im really not trying to damage anything or kill myself after putting these back together. So if anyone can walk me through how to do it it'd be much appreciated. My bike is a 1992 btw. The only video i could find on youtube was in Spanish or something so that didnt help me :/ again anyone who can walk me through this or has pictures or even a video would be great. Especially starting from putting the pistons back in.
Thanks!
Aaron
You need a Clymer or Haynes manual for your bike. The pictorial on changing pads in the wiki should help you with this job for now, scroll down to bottom:

See thats my problem, all the visuals and everything i can find are of that caliper only and mine is an older model I think so they dont rally resemble each other.
I've been using the Carl Salter shop manual download for years for 89-99 GS500E for reference as many others here have
Thanks a lot! Haha but I think I just figured it out :)
Good you figured it out for yourself, that's the best way. But don't forget the parts fiches for diagrams made for ID'ing the part numbers, they can be very helpful in showing where the parts go.
