Title: current jetting on my newly aquired gs k3
Post by: nathaniel2910 on July 25, 2013, 05:01:05 PM
hey guys and gals,
This is my first post on here, Im after some advice regarding jetting.

here are the stock jets as far as i know of 2002 model
Pilot: 17.5
Mid-Main: 60.0
Main Jet: 127.5

my pilot is 17.5, my mid is 60 but my main is 115???
would you guys say this is okay or has someone been fiddling with the jets as its alot lower than what i suspect it should be, i hope this hasn't been done just to mask a problem of some sort.
anyway any help would be greatly apreciated guys as ive already done so much to the bike i just need to get her running now after stripping and cleaning the carbs

No the needles seem fine, no wear marks, there was a build up of crap on the guessing size marking.

Have been snooping around and I think it might be restricted:/
The restrictor kits I've seen are slide, needle and main jet apposed to washers.
It's a pain since my license is the new 47bhp limit one which the gs fits nicely stock at 46

Does anyone know were to get the stock slide and needle from?
