I've found my tank to be a bit of a pepper pot! Anyone in Victoria (OZ) have a spare one that doesn't leak? I'm not worried about minor dings or scratches.
Cheers,
Joolstacho

Well, not really 'cos I'll take anything that doesn't leak!!!
Seriously though... The bike is an '89 GS500E, but the later type tank will fit. The leaky tank I have is the later type anyway (with the recesses for the wrap around seat, so it's wrong for my model. The bike is to be be a user, so whilst the earlier type would be nice and original, I'd be cool with either type.
I'm on a bit of a budget (having just found a bunch of bent valves inside - that's gonna cost a bit).
Wreckers seem to be asking between $150 - $350 for a tank depending on condition -they guarantee no leaks.
Thanks for your replies fellers.
