i made custom frame sliders  for my fully fairled gs only 15-20$.

in video it looks like pretty solid spacers .. slide over rod down to frame .. then slider tensions up against the spacer  :thumb:

if i guess correctly you are talking about 10cm silver metal. this was my old cars drilled suspention shocks.
its pretty nice and strong metal but you can use anything else.
