Everyone do yourself a favor and get smaller aftermarket turn signals. Wether you want led or not is up to you, but just look at how different and clean the bikes look without foot long blinkers hanging off the side

Looks nice...however, I'm going to stick with my foot long stalks. They are more likely to be noticed as they are farther away from the headlight.
they are nice and neat! ... do they meet the 'minimum distance between' for your state regs?
I dislike most aftermarket signals. They are often not as bright, and too small to be noticed by oncoming vehicles. I want cars to see my signal. I understand signals and reflectors in general take away from the looks of a bike, but for me safety is a big factor.
I like my OEM oversized indicators. They make me feel safer. :thumb:
The glare of the headlight would make the turn signals that small and close to the headlight impossible to see.
You can go with stock signals and replace the orange with smoke lenses. That looks good and is still very easy for drivers to see.
FYI: DOT minimum turn signal spacing is 9 inches. While you may not get pulled over for non DOT turn signals, if you do get pulled over or ride like a squid, it is one thing they can ding you for just to rub salt in your wounds when they give you an "Award of Recognition" for squidly riding.

I have those exact same signals on mine, and I can say, for how small they are, they are pretty bright. Having said that, I too wanted to get them away from the headlight, so I have relocated them down the forks a bit for better visibility, and it makes a huge difference.

Its a personal preference for sure, but I would disagree with the above in terms of quality/effectiveness. I have aftermarket bulb ones (halogen/amber) similar in size to the ones above, and side by side night or day, they are noticably brighter than my buddys stockers. Where you get them/brand/quality have a lot to do with it. Go cheap...get cheap results.
