Title: Thanks GSTWIN!
Post by: jag69 on January 20, 2004, 09:38:06 PM
Because of this site I bought my motorcycle (used 97).  This site has also helped me develop the courage to work on my bike.  WOW!  I can't believe what a difference changing the air filter and spark plugs made.  I also changed the oil for my first time.  It is like another bike.  It has more power than before and is very smooth......

I am now going to donate to the site

Thanks all!

I never said it was hard to work on... I have only said it was a POS... Well they have their faults... when I look at some things in other makes I go... couldn't these morons make it like they did in the GS.... and when I see some things in the Gs... I go... these morons couldn't do more like yamaha ... and so on... Case in point... the yamaha switch housings are metal, aluminum... and they dont have that stupid hole in the handle bar... they have a slot and the mirror/lever perch has a tounge that fits in it... so its adjustable and can be cranked down so it doesn't rotate when you try to cancel your turn signal...
Cool.
Srinath.
