Title: GS 500 Speedo Removal
Post by: Mack92 on August 20, 2013, 11:10:57 PM
Hi Guys

haven't been on here for a while but i need to pick your brains. My 1990 GS 500 was recently in a spill at the hands of my brother and i now need to pull the speedo out. I have pulled the dash assembly apart and the tacho has been removed however i am at a loss as to how to remove the speedo because the odometer wheel sticky thingy is in the way. Can this be removed?

Cheers

Grab yourself one of these types of kits ...

I think the #0 size from memory. Poke it Inside the trip-meter reset knob and unscrew.
