Hey guys!
Just wondering, Has anyone had experience with bar end mirrors? I currently have clip-on handle bars and I'm unsure if they will be any good? Does it make it harder to filter through traffic?
Cheers!
John :)
Never used them myself, but plenty of members have... the link below may not answer all of your questions, but will give you something to look through and think about I'm sure...

i love my bar end mirrors, although you do have to move your arm a little to see more clearly in them. i am more of an over the shoulder looker but the bar end mirrors do work great and i have nice visibility of other cars coming up on me with them.
i bought a cheap set off of ebay for $20, i dont recommend using the tighteners they supply. absolute garbage and the mirrors will move, so i went to my local motorcycle store and got 2 new bar end adapters for $40 and they work awesome.
I like mine a lot.
I went to the local old school motorcycle chop about 4 miles away and I asked the guys "Hey...do you have any bar end mirrors" and the guy replies..."I have more handlebar mirrors than you can imagine...." So I got a set of 'Napoleons'. Very nicely made, heavy enough to act as a handlebar weight!
The visibility is great, I think. From my left bar end mirrors I can almost see behind my right side...I'm still playing with their adjustment.
The one I got also have a nice feature where they are spring loaded to stay in place (do not rattle at speed) but if they get knocked, they fold in.

make sure the ones you buy are convex, a flat bar end mirror is not so useful for the cars you care about seeing.
I think i have same as the other users above the cheap ebay ones work awesome esoecially convex and yes move your arm but it fives it a nice low profile look
