Title: Need help finding bar end mirrors
Post by: ScottishBiker234 on September 08, 2013, 11:51:38 PM
Hey guys and gals, Been looking all over the net and e-bay and even GStwins wiki about mirrors and I can't find any bar end mirrors that would fit the standard 2000 model clip ons as they have a thread and are not hollow.

Anyone know where I might get some? As my streetfighter project wouldn't look complete without some bar ends :)

Ta

John

I don't know if these will work for you or not but this site has quite a few bar end mirrors.

Errrr ... Someone correct my thinking if I'm wrong on this ....

Get whatever bar end mirrors 'float your boat' ... Unscrew the expander bit from the bolt and so long as the bolt and your thread are the same then screw the bugger in!? .. So long as the end cap fits it should be good I think? ..

If the bolt is a little different thread then swap it out for one that does fit ... The mirror and its arm to the cap are the important part you need yeah?

^ What he said ^

Most if not all bar end mirrors work this way, and I had to do the same thing since I made my own clip on bars. I just threw out the bolt and expander it came with, and used my own hardware. Just make sure you use a lock washer and some loctite and you will be fine.
