Hi knowles,
I'd like to know more about the 1989 carbs. :)
Do you have photos of them that you can post?
Other than the jet kit, are they stock and working just fine?
No damage or stripped screws or anything?
Why are you selling them?
I am seeking a stock set of spare old style two-jet carbs as a backup set.
You can guarantee that these are complete and working fine?
I'm very interested.
Thanks,
Trwhouse  :)

I'll take the seat as long as shipping isn't crazy.
PM sent with contact info.

Yes they were on my very nicely running 89 gs.
They also have the holes in the slides drilled and plugged per instructions from Dynojet.
Screws are fine I was going to replace with the Allenhead stainless ones before shipping.
Im selling them because Im going to the newer carbs and newer hand controls, in 09 frame so i can have farings, my hand controls are looking there age. I was going to buy a newer bigger bike but I got a atv instead, so now im going ahead with my project.
They work very well on my bike you would need to tune them to yours to have it run right, no leaks or damage of any kind.
Will post pics Wednesday- Thursday depending on when i get home from work.

That's fine. I have a seat that I am replacing, since some critters gnawed on it in the previous owners shed. It has the rubbers so it will work fine and I get rid of the holes in the back of mine. Funds will be there in the next couple of hours. will post here when they have been transferred from this end.

Thanks in advance
Mech

Man, if I didn't just buy soft bags, I'd be all over those... How exactly do they mount?

Both sets of carbs have stainless steel top and bottom bolts. I looked at the newer carbs and the float bowl screws will need to be replaced.

Funds should be there at the email address you PM'ed me. They will be from my brother whose initials are D.G., in the sum of $40.
Let me know if there are any problems and when it is shipped.

Missing rubber insulators are no problem. I need the plastic frame with upholstery. I have a complete seat, just has holes where some critter gnawed on it in the PO's shed.

Thanks
Mech

Hey, havnt been on in a while and was wondering if you still had the dual jet carbs, and fairing pieces. My carbs have a jet stuck so I can't rejet them, and plastics need some love haha. Other than those two things I'm looking for forks for my 92.

Buddha, how's it going? I don't think I'm neighboring but I am close to you. I havnt decided whether to get rid of mine if I buy his or not yet. Nothing but one jet is wrong with them to me. But if I buy his and do think of getting rid of mine I'll definitely give you a shout first.
