I am having surgery to help with a seriously painful plantar fascia/heel spur in a little bit.
The surgery is called Topaz micro de-braider and the are poking holes in the foot and shoot radio waves and kill off tissue so it will heal better.
Then are also injecting Platelet rich plasma into it to help it heal.
Anyway all items paid for have been sent ... and the fun store is closed a while. I would be back on in a few days, but not able to ship stuff for a while.
Cool.
Buddha.
Ouch. Good luck with the surgery. I hope everything goes well and you recover quickly.
Take care my friend, and the best of luck to you :)

bahahaha foot surgery .. heel/heal ... good one!!
Best of wishes for a speedy recovery Mr Buddha sir!! :thumb:
I got to hospital 11:30 for the 1:30 surgery. Yeaaaayyyy ON time.
Waited to past 5 before they started WTF ... yea they stuck a needle in my arm to draw blood and left it there cos it was needed anyway, and 5 hours WTF ...
The doc had to make a couple of incisions in addition to the 30 or so holes.
But was all done my 6:15, out of anasthesia by 6:30, and home by 9 and eating dinner, after 24 hours of not eating ... man that was a great sub ... anyway, now in bed, foot - well bandaged up and still numbed up ...
Thanks for all the well wishes. I'll appraise as it goes.
Cool.

Buddha, good luck with the recovery sir. My mother in law had a similar surgery, and the recovery was the pita. Listen to the doctors.....

It did. She struggled to use crutches (lack of upper body strength) so she contacted her insurance company about getting a kneeling / scooter thing. I think her surgery was last November? But now she has no signs of ever having a problem.

Yea I am facing that issue as well, I've got an office chair I am using as a kneeling roller. I also lack upper body strength ... seriously.
I hope my results are similar. The pain was insane. My doctor after seeing the MRI (he saw that just few hours before the surgery thanks to our idiotic healthcare system ... wtf, you do MRI, they should hand you the mri, and say hold onto it and show to the doctor you will meet to do surgery) anyway, he said he's going to make a incision or 2 plus the 25-30 holes cos there was a lot more hardening. My wife asked some question as I was going under, and he said he must be in a lot of pain with that being so calcified. Anyway I hope it works right for me.
Cool.
