Title: Buzzing gauges
Post by: CndnMax on September 23, 2013, 05:47:21 AM
Anyone know where I can get new rubber pieces that go around the gauges without getting raped on shipping. Mine are worn out and the gauges are buzzing like crazy in the housing.

I'm on my mobile so I can't find or post part numbers but this has been asked before and recently.

Google the part number and find a place that's cheap and low shipping.
Or just go to your local dealer and avoid shipping costs.

DAMPER    34288-01D20 (replaces 34288-01DA0)     $5.85

Both sides are the same.

Old ones I always toss and always put new ones on. So no used ones at all (they'd be crappy anyway). They are cheap enough, just go to your dealer and order them.

I used double beaded weather stripping to stop my gauges and tank from rattling

Here is a picture to show you how the fit is perfect. Just put it around the gauge and then 'tuck' it in.
