Not really sure what you are asking but the rear shock from all the GS's are the same. If you want to mod the rear shock many use an R6 shock.

You should do an introduction thread so we can all say g'day. Beerwah as in near the Glasshouse Mountains?

Not all are the same Twisted. 89, 90 and 91? models are different :thumb:
If the shock comes from a model with the aluminium knuckle/dog bone it will not fit the models with the Steel knuckle/dog bones as they are different BUT the newer models will fit the older models :thumb:
adidasguy can tell you exactly what and why this is.

The 89 and 90 had an aluminum knuckle.
I dont think the shock is different, just the knuckle.
The shock you are going to fit on a non aluminum knuckle will need a deep clevice - but r6, kat 6 etc etc are all deep clevice. So are all GSXR shocks. Shallow clevice shocks are too fet and far between ...

Cool.

That steel knuckle and short clevise isn't really much of an issue either, you can shave the knuckle.

Cool.

It sounds like I'm in luck , I have a 1990 mod. So the 07 mod. shock from Ebay should fit.     thanks a lot.

Been wrenching all day in the Bike Cave.
Gorilla and his father disassembled his bike. BrianRC put on new rubber.

...and you did have a link to where I posted it before. I could have written it again - bit would that mean you really like reading what I post?
