Hi Guys,
Really sorry if this out there somewhere but I have searched for a fairly long time and I can't find it!
So I'm looking at getting a new battery and after doing quite a bit of research I think I want to go with a Scorpion YT10L-A2 (If you have any other recommendations with good reasons feel free to share!), but the problem is I cant find anywhere that sells them in the UK! I've used this forum quite a lot and it always seems to come up trumps so I thought I'd put my question to you, so I created an account and here I am! :)
Does anyone know where I could get one (or another recommended battery, preferably sealed) in the UK?
Thanks :)
Off the top of my head:
Any decent bike garage / dealer should be able to order a battery for you.
I think halfords still do bike batteries.

I have a Motobatt MB10-U in my 2k7 and it has been great (aside from a stupid little mounting issue) - covered in another thread..

Cheers guys, i knew this would be the place to come for help! :)
Well I've done a quick look for the Motobatt which I had considered before and seems to be easier to come by than the Scorpion.
I found this one in the UK: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motobatt-Upgrade-Motorcycle-Battery-SUZUKI-500-GS500E-1989-2004-MB10U-/350720835509?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item51a8973fb5
Does £47 seem right? I was thinking it would be more £30-£40? I assume the mounting issue you mentioned is the bit of plastic on the bottom of the battery? I had read that thread before but thanks for the heads up anyway :P
I didn't use the extra pieces to raise the posts and I didn't use the extra plastic tray that comes with it and it works/fits fine
I reccomend you go with a Varta.

Resonably priced, excellent quality, drops straight in and long lasting. Mine is over 8.5 years old now and still going strong :dunno_black:
