As the title suggests, this is a lazy way to address the problem of perpetually leaking fork seals. Pull the dust cover off an fit an extra fork seal. They are a bit loose so I used a piece of thin plastic sheet as a shim (don't use silicone, I did one of each and aside from making a mess, the one with the silicone came out the other day). Don't make it too tight though, remember that when you have to change them this seal has to come out BEFORE you can access the circlip to get the original seal out.

Finished it off with a set of fork guards off my VFR750

Nice!
Let us know how long it holds up.
Did the job about 6 weeks ago and so far so good (the one was leaking pretty badly). Obviously whatever factors caused the original seal to leak (pitting/worn bushes ect) are still going to be there, just figured that 2 seals would be better than one.
