Hi guys, ive been searching the internet for more information on the air jets of the older carbs. Reason being i stripped one and extracted it so now its crap. I would like to go up from 1.35 stock size on the parts fiche and avoid paying $11 a piece too. Ebay sellers have the Mikuni Air Jets - 1.5 BS30/97-1.5 i want to know if these will fit the bst33 twin carbs on the gs500, i cant seem to find the answer with google or gstwins. Could someone shed some light on this for me please?

Stop stop stop dragging the good name of the buddha through the mud.
OK what was the problem - let me see -
Dude why did you extract it ? OK by mistake - OK fine - changing the size of it is not required, recomended etc etc ...
You dont put 60 psi in your tires to increase your top speed do you ... I hope not - OK that's what you are doing by putting bigger air jets in it. The jets that flow gas, we change when we rejet. The air ones we dont need to cos ... well it will throw our other calculations off and you have to use an all new jetting formula and it may not end up right inspite of that.

ebay sellers have the 1.3 size labeled the same bs30/97 1.3, if i want to keep the same air jet size, but i still dont know if it will fit the bst33 twin carburetors. Am i forced to buy them from the stealership :( ?
